Craps horn bets is only one type of the many craps bets that are considered risky, but with the risk come reward. Craps is a fast paced, high stakes game with a bunch of elbow-to-elbow players, standing-not sitting-together in camaderie and chaos, all waiting for a chance to toss the next dice.
The Hi-Lo craps bet is basically the same thing as betting on the shooter rolling a 2 or 12. If any of these two numbers show up, then you win the Hi Lo bet. Not all casinos have this bet on the table or display it on the layout, but some do. Also, throwing a 2 or 12 are both infrequent and the name comes from 12 being the highest number and 2 being the lowest number you can throw in a dice game.
Horn High. The Players can bet a Horn High bet on any roll of the dice. The bet wins if any of the four numbers 2, 3, 11 or 12 is rolled. If any other number is rolled, the bet loses. This is a one-roll bet. The Horn High wager is made and paid as if it were a five-unit wager. Three of the numbers have one unit each.
Horn High. There are four different Horn High’s that all bet the same numbers as the Horn. They are the Horn High Yo, Horn High Ace Deuce, Horn High Aces, and the Horn High Twelve. The difference is you are adding a higher amount of money to one of those bets; the Aces, Aces Deuce, Twelve, or the Yo in order to determine which Horn High you.

I can sympathize with the beginner, because at one point in time this was how craps appeared to me.
